Shoulda Been Dead By: Damien Jackson

An inspiring true life story. "I became what I swore I never would. A violent, aggressive, cold-hearted, criminal-minded, statistic. I was no scarface, I was a corner hustler. I worked blocks, I was selling on rock at a time. I had to fight my own wars."

What can I say about this book? It an outstanding book! It about this young mann in his probably 17 and he his living homeless, but he was not homeless at first he had a good family, but he and his family choose to go to the wrong path. Now he his going through a process that actually he never knew he was going to go through in his life. This book is based on a true story. And I do not want to spoil it because probably you might hate for telling you it, but go and buy the book. It a great testimony from the bottom and now where he his at. My personal reaction to this reading selection was like I said outstanding! It like no other book I read. Since the book is outstanding I believe that the author's intent was to show that it possible that from the bottom it can really change know matter what you are in. What ever struggle you go through it not impossible to fail. 

It was sold not only in USA but also in Brazil.

Of Mice and Men by: John Steinbeck

"Of Mice and Men" is about these two homeless man that are trying to find somewhere to live and work. When I started reading this book my reaction toward is that these man are living in the time of the  Great Depression. They needed somewhere to live, to work, and to eat. They were straight up homeless. What I intent on what the author was trying to make a point is that he wanted us to see how two man was struggling on 1930's. This made the author use cause and effect because the two man are going through things on what other character are not facing. It a very interesting book or a story relaying on the Great Depression. It makes you see how people suffer not only financle but also in friends.

A Bend in the Road By Nicholas Sparks

 In this book "A Bend in the Road" the author use cause and effect alot because he use the organizion for that the reader can see what happen in the past and why it happen in the present happen. Like Miles Ryan he starts to drink and smoke heavy because he lost his sweetheart high school and wife by a hit-and-run. His child Jonah isn't doing well at school. And so the teacher Sarah Andrews offer herself to stay after school to help Jonah and this smooth path became a little more "uff", it had little flirt and some akwardness. But later Miles couldn't let go of who killed his wife. He was still investigating, especially when some guy came to him andsad he know who klled his wife. He became furious the path became hell. But for Miles the only hell that didn't exist was with Sarah and of course mainly Jonah they where his calming point. My reaction toward the massive stroy was that I can't believe who killed Miles wife and blame it on some ine so close to him. It heart breaking aswell on how he see's that person now that he cared so much. I see that the author wanted the reader to figure out as well on the clue with cause and effect for every reason why Miles felt to find his killer wife's. It was also to make you finf out with Miles who killed his wife.

A Walk to Remember by Nicholas Sparks*

The book A walk to remember is  tragic but spiritual love story. There is many character like Landon, Jamie, and so on but those are the main character. It start with Landon and Jamie not talking to each other but they had classes with each other since they were kids. Jamie is a minister daughter and her mom died from giving birth to her. Now Landon he is a wealthy young man because his grandfather had earn his money from many ways. Any how Landon is the class president and he helped out to do the play that Jamie's father had organized many years ago for Christmas but he made it as his own way.

When Landon started to help the play he started get annoy because he didn't had time to have fun with his real friend. He always had to stay and help out on something that the drama teacher had ask him to do. Plus, when it get to late he had to walk Jamie to her house and sometimes he didn't want o because he is to embarrass to be seen around her. He also didn't help the drama teacher but he also help Jamie with some few stuff like with the orphanage, being the main character of the play, and collecting the jars that Jamie had put around town.

 While Landon help Jamie around he didn't notice but he started to fall in love with her like never before. What do i mean like never before while like he never love someone else before comparing to all his ex-girlfriend. But the shocking part is that he later found out that Jamie had leukemia, which his cancer in the blood cell. Landon was shocked about what was going on with her. And so he did all his best to make her happy. He took her to a five star restaurant and the most beautiful part of  the book is that he proposed to her. They both got married but that summer she left.

He never forgot that day.Every single moment when Jamie had been in his life. Landon never took out his ring. He a grown man and had change because Jamie had came to his life.

*They made a movie as well and it fun to compare both the book and the movie it totally different in it own way but is has the message and the theme that it trying to give out.

What Kind Of Reader I am?

The kind of reader I am is I love reading fiction genre. I like to escape when i read. I enjoy stories that tell me about something other than my normal life. As long as it's not real, it's up my alley. Also Drama is my favorite genre. I love to be serious when I read. Sitting on the edge of my seat or shedding a tear or two for my favorite character is not out of the question. Well that what the quiz told me and I agree. I do enjoy stories that is out of my comfort zone, out of my reality life, because it boring to have the same life and it enjoyable to get out of your life and pretend your one of the character especailly when there are drama around the case.

 Ms.Anchell what you should know about me is that I'm a busy young lady going to church every Wednesday,Friday,Sunday, and sometimes Saturday. Since I'm in the youth group call "Youth Power Group" I spent my life on the youth group since 2009. I Take it seriously and I don't play around unless it the right time. I have friends all over Florida from south to north and more to come.We once a month go to Miami and have competion. 



Also, I am very focus on my school work. No one would see me talk while doing my work ,unless it necessary like a group project or to help someone who is in need. I enjoy learning because I expand my knowledge. I always learn my mistakes even if I'm smart (that what others says, but I don't think that). Learning is what I have passion for. I started loving reading book. From Nicholas Sparks "A Bend on The Road" is how I started enjoying reading books.

 My Hobby is to collect purses. I love purses since I was three. I especially love huge purses for I can fit my whole house in it. All the times I don't have money to go and buy purses that I adore so I go to my aunt closet and get a purse that look the same and use it for the day.

 Okay well I was born here Miami, Florida in 1997 of the month of May 23rd. It was a in the  morning of a Friday. I have four siblings, two dogs, and a niece. One of my siblings is half blood from me and the others. His name is Geovanny ,he is from El Salvador and he has a new born name Ana-Deysi with his girlfriend. He is the child from my mother bear. Also, the other three siblings are full blood. They are triplets. Two girls and one boy. Their name are Gabriella, Edwin, and Daysi, they are a year and five months younger than me. Alright me and my triplets are Americans we were born here at Miami, Florida.



So that part who I am and so many more to learn from me!
